Happy Day Reader!!
Have you ever thought of why dreams can both mean a life desire or an experience you have in your non-wake state?
My spiritual teacher, Dr. Lovy L. Elias, had a school on dreams that I got the privilege to attend virtually. I came to learn that most of our dreams are God speaking.
At a macro level- you know that dream that you had out of nowhere when you were younger? Well the purpose God created you for is reflected in it! It may look different through time, for example a child wanting to be the president when they grow up may just indicate they are meant to lead a nation (a group of people). For me, I wanted to be an astronaut, and although I am not exploring the universe I am exploring small universes in the people I get to support.
At a micro level- our day dreams and non-wake dreams are also God speaking to us! (I know way cool). This is an area I am tapping my toes in, but what I can share is that transformational work directly affects how you dream and interpret dreams.
Why? because the way you dream reflects the condition of your emotions, mind, and will and how you perceive them depends on those conditions too.
I already know this to be true for one of my clients, as through our work a recurring nightmare shifted to a powerful reassuring dream!
I hope that you can digest the fact that the Source of ALL creation speaks to YOU personally not only in waking life but also while you sleep. Things like the Google algorithm, the sewing machine, the DNA double helix and more world impacting innovations were inspired by these kind of dreams.
The thing is that the programming behind our society has completely taken us out of giving much importance to dreams, and instead created dreams for us (e.g., the American Dream). It is disheartening to see how many of us have been taken out of our true purpose because of this generalized dream, where we have mistaken success as financial gain or titles over purpose. BUT don't be discouraged because the discovery of your purpose begins with the simple decision to want to find it.
It is no surprise that one of the first workshops God placed in my heart was titled Dare to Dream. Because to dream is not foolish, or a waste of time, but a courageous act. I think what takes us out of the game is thinking that our dream has already been fulfilled by someone else, and the truth is that behind every dream there is an unique individual.
Therefore, no two dreams can be the same. Comparison is where dreams go to die, so instead of perceiving how others can do it better we can instead admire and be inspired in the ways we can show up for what is calling us forward.
I am not saying become the next Einstein or Steve Jobs, perhaps your dream is just feeling like you are part of something meaningful and that is AMAZING and attainable.
My guess is that once you get into those smaller dreams, you will discover new ones and realize that you are growing into the person you didn't even know you were always wanted to be.
The decision to meet purpose does not mean you will completely shift your life in an instant, so don't let the voice of uncertainty take you out from navigating what's on the other side of this curiosity. Yes, for me I did shift my life in an instant in my quest for purpose, but I found it that it was not necessary to meet it.
A simple rewiring of the mind and heart can quickly lead you to begin discovering the purposes that have been with you since day 1 in this earth. I have something that can help you with just that!
Reader, I want 2024 to be your best year yet. I know that you have challenges, fears and responsibilities that keep you from giving yourself a chance to see what that could look like. But I promise you that as you have a taste of a deeper purpose, you will be more than willing to do whatever it takes to transform into that lifestyle.
The value on things outside of you will decrease and the value within will take priority. All without being selfish, because you will see how walking in a purposeful path also benefits others.
So what do you say? Will 2024 be a year you say yes to a deeper purpose?
If you say yes, even with a little fear, I have the perfect first step for you!

How's the second half of your year starting, Reader? I hope it's been full of pleasant surprises and growth! For me, it's been one month since leaving corporate and starting new ventures with coaching and freelance work. It has been a very humbling experience to witness how attached I was to the steady pay that came every two weeks. The discomfort has triggered old patterns of emotional avoidance. In the past, I would indulge in mind-altering substances, like alcohol, to ease the discomfort....
Hey Reader! Are you excited by this title? Cause I know I am!! If you have a relationship with overwhelm, you typically fall into two categories. You either constantly feel on the edge of burnout, with a few breaks in between, or you constantly feel stuck, with little to no progress on the things you say you want to start doing. The key word here is "constantly" or "continuously", which means that these feelings of burnout or stagnancy are as regular as brushing your teeth. If you are in...
Reader, Perhaps you are in a place where you realize no matter how much you add to your skills, titles, bank, closet, etc. You are still experiencing a void. You are having a hard time connecting with your loved ones because you cannot even connect to yourself. You look around at your connections, both professionally and personally, and see that there is an emptiness that you experience with them. You take a look at your career or job and realize that there is a level of comfort it gives you...
